Usman Ahmed 

Usman enjoys tackling complicated requirements and designing simple yet robust solutions. Usman’s biggest strength stems from his ability to listen with the intent of learning, not with the intent to reply. 

With over 12 years of consulting experience and 10 years within global procurement transformation, Usman has successfully executed and overseen 50+ implementations across 81 countries spanning a variety of industries including Financial Services, Non-Profit, Life Sciences, Retail, Travel, Construction, and Technology.  

Usman is a Senior Project Manager, servicing our prospects and clients in sales, planning, and implementation management for our global Coupa practice. 

Before joining Acquis, Usman was a Senior Customer Success Manager at Zip HQ, overseeing enterprise customer relationships. Prior to that, he was a Senior Manager at The Shelby Group, overseeing enterprise and corporate implementations as an Executive Sponsor. At The Shelby Group, Usman developed Coupa bundle offerings focusing on time-to-value across corporate customers. Usman also spearheaded internal initiatives focused on new hire onboarding and standardization efforts to accelerate implementation timelines.  

Usman holds a B.A in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a sports fanatic (all teams Chicago minus the WhiteSox) and loves spending time with his wife and 2 daughters in their hometown, Chicago.
