Atalay Soydemir

Atalay is a results-oriented, self-directed, inquisitive, and entrepreneurial-minded strategist; crafting data-driven and practical tactics to boost growth and expand margins for his clients.

As an Associate at Acquis Consulting Group, Atalay leverages his background in engineering, his expertise in operating model design, his hard-working mentality and creativity to support his clients and solve various business problems. He feels comfortable in the face of ambiguity and is an excellent storyteller with the ability to simplify large amounts of information into actionable insights.

Prior to joining Acquis, Atalay worked at Applied Value Group, a boutique management consulting firm, where he worked on supply chain and sourcing related engagements. In this role, he supported a leading US-based airline client in their efforts to mitigate supply chain risks. Before that, Atalay worked at KPMG as a Senior Analyst where he worked on various engagements spanning from commercial due diligence to market assessment for technology, financial services and life sciences clients. He also has roots at Ernst & Young, starting out his career as an Analyst on their Financial Due Diligence team.

He graduated from Istanbul Technical University and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Minor in Applied Mathematics. Atalay is passionate about implementing a healthy lifestyle and is always looking for ways to curate lifelong health. He enjoys staying active with friends, reading, listening to podcasts and exploring the food scene in New York.
