Acquis' Greeley Koch on Making NDC Work for Modern Travel Programs

In Business Travel Executive’s special report, “NDC Integration: Reality Check,” industry leaders weighed in on the opportunities and challenges of implementing New Distribution Capability (NDC). The discussion centered on how travel managers can reconcile supplier ambitions with traveler expectations while ensuring program goals remain intact.

Greeley Koch, Director of Travel Services at Acquis, emphasized that success with NDC comes from reframing the conversation. Rather than focusing solely on the process of adoption, Koch pointed to the purpose of NDC — supporting a productive, compliant, and cost-effective digital traveler journey. He noted that organizations have multiple options for enabling NDC, whether through GDS, TMC direct connections, or airline-powered technology, and the key is choosing the approach that best aligns with traveler needs and program objectives.

Koch’s perspective highlights that with the right strategy, NDC isn’t a disruption to manage but a lever for building stronger, more modern travel programs.
