Chloe Carver, Acquis’ Head of Corporate Travel, shared insights on Big Data and travel management company (TMC) partnerships in the September-October 2024 issue of Business Travel Executive.
Carver advised travel executives to “spend time learning about AI and thinking about how you want AI to play a role in your overall business and data strategy.” She suggested integrating “new data sources, such as health data, economic indicators, and traveler sentiment” for more detailed insights.
Regarding TMC partnerships, Carver recommended using “a combination of best-in-class regional solutions and global oversight” in some cases. She emphasized that “the choice between a fully global or hybrid solution depends on the company’s specific requirements, travel patterns, and strategic goals.”
