Acquis is now certified to implement Tonkean, the agentic orchestration platform acquired by Coupa earlier this year.
Tonkean is making waves in one of the most competitive areas in procurement technology: intake and orchestration. Its AI front door allows users to explain what they need in plain language, then routes requests through the appropriate approvals and processes before triggering downstream transactions. Coupa’s Smart Intake and Orchestration, announced in 2025, is now powered by Tonkean, bringing these capabilities into the Coupa platform.
But Tonkean goes beyond intake. Its orchestration engine connects the work that happens after a request is submitted, coordinating processes across an organization’s existing systems and workflows. This makes it particularly valuable for organizations managing complex intake processes and high contract volume.
“As an implementation partner, we’re deeply invested in Coupa’s technology improvements and the impact they have on our clients,” said Tyson Moore, Senior Vice President at Acquis. “Many of our clients stand to benefit from a smarter, faster, more coordinated intake process. Tonkean gives them that.”
While Tonkean offers tremendous value, realizing that value requires thoughtful configuration.
“Tonkean is a powerful tool, but it requires careful configuration,” said Tyson. “I’m proud Acquis is now positioned to support clients through that process.”
Following its recent Rossum certification, Acquis continues to build its expertise in Coupa’s emerging AI capabilities, helping clients put new technology to work within their existing environments.
