Ashley Gibson

As a Principal at Acquis, Ashley brings more than 15 years of consulting experience helping organizations transform their Finance & Accounting functions into high-performing, strategically aligned partners to the business. She specializes in finance transformation, global process optimization, performance improvement, and navigating complex change across multinational environments. 
 
Ashley has led large-scale transformation initiatives for global consumer and retail brands, manufacturing organizations, and fast-growing companies preparing for scale or IPO readiness. Her work spans evaluating outsourcing arrangements, redesigning Finance organizations, optimizing close and reporting processes, assessing technology maturity, and guiding CFOs through future-state strategy development. She is known for bringing clarity to complexity, fostering collaboration across teams, and delivering actionable recommendations that accelerate operational performance. 
 
Before joining Acquis, Ashley held leadership roles at Deloitte and Accenture and served as the CFO of a boutique professional services firm. She is a CPA, CMA, and CSCA, and holds degrees from Southern Illinois University and Texas A&M University. 
 
Ashley is deeply committed to empowering others—whether through her leadership roles within the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, her volunteer work supporting young professionals, or her endowed scholarship for women in accounting at Southern Illinois. She is an avid runner, Pilates enthusiast, and believer in continuous improvement, both personally and professionally. Ashley lives in Houston and is passionate about building community, mentoring emerging leaders, and giving back to the organizations that shaped her.
