Acquis Consulting Group, L.L.C. (“Acquis,” “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. As part of this commitment, we have adopted the following privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) to govern the information that we collect from you on this website (the “Site”) and our handling of your personal information.

Types of Information We Collect

We will not ask for or request sensitive information such as government identifiers, medical information, or financial information. Please do not provide this information to us through e-mails, feedback forms or in any other way unless specifically requested.

In addition, we may use your information as described in any notice provided at the time you provide the information, and for any other purpose for which you may provide consent.

How We Use Your Information

We will use your personal information to respond to your requests. In addition, to the extent that you send us a resume or other information related to a job request, we will use that information to evaluate your submission.

If you have not opted out from receiving emails from us, we may use your email address or other personal information to send commercial or marketing messages. We also may use your email address for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major Site changes or for customer service purposes). You cannot opt out of receiving emails for non-marketing or administrative purposes.

We use non-personal information for internal purposes and to help us understand demographics and traffic patterns on the Site, and to create similar statistics and analyses.

How We Share Information & With Who

We may share both personal information and non-personal information with our affiliates for the purposes described above, and may share such information with service providers who have an obligation to us to maintain the confidentiality of the information.

If we or one of our affiliates is sold to, or merges with, another company, or declares bankruptcy, some or all of the information collected from you may be transferred to a third party as a result of the transfer of assets. Choice & Consent

By use of this Site and our services, you are granting your voluntary consent for use of your data in terms described in this Privacy Policy. You have the right to withdraw your consent in at any time.

If you withdraw your consent you may be unable be able to use some or all of our services. In some cases you can limit the information you provide to us. You may send requests about your preferences and changes to your information, or withdraw consent by emailing the contact below. Additionally, if you are participating in our services through your employer, your employer may make changes to information on your behalf.

How We Safeguard Your Information

While no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable measures to protect your personal information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We cannot guarantee its absolute security. We take industry appropriate physical, technology and organizational measures to protect all information. Examples of these techniques and practices include applying principles of least privilege in regards to who has access to information, using encryption methods when storing or transmitting personal information, and maintaining firewalls to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to information.

You are responsible for protecting your login information and applicable password(s) and for the security of information that you transmit to us over the internet.

Retention and Deletion of Personal Information

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary. We maintain records retention policies and procedures so that personal information is deleted after a reasonable period time. We retain your personal information for as long as we have an ongoing relationship with you, and for as long as needed in order to comply with our legal, regulatory, accounting, and contractual obligations.

Children’s Privacy

You must be 13 years or older to use the Site. As a result, we do not collect information about children.

GDPR

Acquis complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We may share your personal information with our affiliated companies or service providers. Some of these companies and service providers may be located outside the EEA. When we transfer your personal information outside of the EEA, we do so on the basis of standard contractual clauses which have been approved by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection for your personal information. Acquis acknowledges that EEA individuals have the right to access the personal information that we maintain about them. An EEA individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate information within the personal information, should direct their query by emailing privacy@acquisconsulting.com. If requested to remove personal information, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Special Note to International Users

The Site is hosted in the United States and is intended for and directed to users in the United States. If you are accessing the Site from the European Union, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your continued use of the Site, which is governed by U.S. law and this Privacy Policy, you are transferring your personal information to the United States and you consent to that transfer.

Notice to California Residents/Your California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of personal information that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Binding Effect; Changes to the Privacy Policy
