Acquis Consulting Group Appoints Kerby Houff As Chief Executive Officer

June 30, 2025, NEW YORK – Acquis Consulting Group (Acquis), a global consulting firm specializing in strategy and implementation, announced today that Kerby Houff will assume the Chief Executive Officer role effective June 30, 2025. Houff, who served as President since 2023, has been instrumental in the firm’s expansion across industries and service offerings.

Founder & Chief Executive Officer David Kaufman will transition to Executive Chair, providing strategic guidance to Acquis and its sister companies — Solidea, SSI, Tripkicks, and Cortico-X — while continuing to lead Acquis Foundation®. Kaufman founded Acquis in 1998, pioneering a vision for a consulting firm that places people at the center of change. Today, Acquis works with many of the largest and most disruptive businesses across life sciences, financial services, private equity, healthcare, and technology, among other industries.

"After 27 years as Managing Partner and CEO, I'm proud to pass the baton to Kerby," said Kaufman. "His strategic vision has already driven remarkable growth, and as CEO, he will accelerate our trajectory while ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional value to clients. I look forward to supporting Kerby’s leadership and continued innovation."

Houff joined Acquis in 2011 as an Engagement Manager and advanced through several leadership roles before becoming Partner in 2020 and President in 2023. Throughout his tenure, Houff has established himself as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, eventually leading Acquis' Management Consulting Services Division. Under his leadership, he diversified the firm's service offerings and expanded its footprint across new industries. His vision has driven substantial growth in both the company’s consultant base and revenue while simultaneously playing a pivotal role in the launch of two successful sister companies — Cortico-X and SSI.

"I am honored to build on the strong foundation David established and lead Acquis into its next chapter of growth and innovation," said Houff. "Our expanded capabilities in growth strategy, life sciences, artificial intelligence, and technology strategy and implementation uniquely position us to address our clients’ evolving needs. As we scale our talent and partnerships, our people-first mantra will remain at the heart of everything we do; it's this human-centered approach that will continue to amplify our impact across industries."

The announcement comes during a period of exciting growth and industry recognition for Acquis. In the past 12 months, the firm has been recognized as an employer of choice, earning multiple distinctions from Consulting Magazine and Fortune — including Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™, Best Medium Workplaces™, and Best Workplaces in New York™, where it ranked in the top five. In parallel, Acquis received top honors from leading technology partners, including SAP Concur Distinguished Partner in 2025 and Coupa App Marketplace Partner of the Year in 2024 — the latter highlighting the impact of AcquisLink®, its integration platform. Powered by a people-first culture and a commitment to innovation, Acquis is poised to build on this momentum in its next chapter of growth.
