Acquis Consulting Group CEO David Kaufman was featured in ABC7 New York's coverage of the Hope Lodge NYC reopening ceremony. Kaufman participated in the ribbon-cutting event for the American Cancer Society facility, which provides free lodging for cancer patients traveling more than 40 miles for outpatient treatment.
In his remarks, Kaufman emphasized the significance of the facility's reopening after 15 months of pandemic closure. "Seeing our city coming back to life, helping cancer patients at the same time, the moment someone is first diagnosed with cancer is so scary but there is hope, Hope Lodge makes that treatment possible," Kaufman stated. He highlighted both the community recovery aspect and the critical support the facility provides to cancer patients during their treatment journey.
