To improve visibility into spend, automate accounts payable, strengthen cash management, and modernize procurement, the organization launched a transformation centered on a Coupa implementation and NetSuite Direct Spend integration.
The plan was simple: deploy Coupa, integrate with NetSuite, and enable suppliers. The obstacle surfaced during supplier enablement. The company’s largest suppliers ran on a patchwork of legacy EDI implementations, proprietary file structures, and custom CSV formats. The suppliers responsible for most of the invoice volume had no plans to modernize before the Coupa go-live.
