Implementing Salesforce for Beekley Medical
Following an eight-week Envision assessment that produced a multi-year digital transformation roadmap, Acquis' Salesforce team partnered with Beekley Medical to implement Salesforce Sales Cloud. The implementation replaced a legacy CRM with a modern platform built to grow with the business.
Innovative medical devices for better patient care
Beekley Medical, a division of Beekley Corporation founded in 1934, develops low-cost, disposable medical products that improve clinical outcomes in medical imaging, surgical, and radiation oncology settings. Headquartered in Bristol, Connecticut, the company pioneered products like its skin marking system for mammography and maintains a strong commitment to improving the patient experience. Beekley Medical serves healthcare organizations across the country and holds ISO 13485 certification for its quality management system.
Bringing the technology roadmap to life
In a prior engagement, Beekley Medical partnered with Acquis to map out a multi-year digital transformation roadmap. The first and most foundational priority: implement Salesforce Sales Cloud.
Beekley Medical's on-premise CRM failed to meet its evolving needs. Sales data lived across disconnected systems, institutional knowledge sat with individual reps, and processes for managing accounts, territories, and pricing was highly manual. But before the organization could implement Sales Cloud, it had to define the processes the platform would support.
That combination of technology implementation and process design required a partner who understood both. Having already built the strategic roadmap, Acquis brought deep context on Beekley Medical's operations, goals, and constraints, along with the trust to guide decisions that would reshape how the sales team worked day to day.
A phased implementation grounded in process design
Acquis structured the Sales Cloud implementation in three phases.
Phase 1: Platform foundation
The team configured Sales Cloud using out-of-the-box functionality wherever possible, aligning the platform to Beekley Medical's revised sales process. The team prioritized a clean, maintainable build that the organization could extend as its Salesforce footprint grew over time.
Phase 2: Process redesign and customization
Acquis worked alongside the Beekley Medical team to evaluate legacy workflows and determine which to carry forward and which to redesign. Those decisions drove the customization scope, including territory models for lead distribution and pricing logic tailored to how Beekley Medical's sales team structures deals.
Phase 3: Data migration and integration
Acquis built an automated extract, transform, and load (ETL) process to migrate years of historical data into Salesforce. The team also integrated Salesforce with Beekley Medical's ERP and related systems, establishing reliable data flows across the technology stack.
Post-launch enablement
Following go-live, Acquis provided two months of hands-on training and support. The team focused on building confidence with the new platform and reinforcing the redesigned processes, giving reps the support they needed to make Salesforce part of their daily workflow.
A modern sales operation with room to grow
Beekley Medical launched on Salesforce Sales Cloud in January 2026, completing the first major milestone of the digital transformation roadmap Acquis developed during the Envision engagement.
With Sales Cloud live and adoption ramping, Beekley Medical now has the foundation to pursue the next phases of its transformation roadmap and extend Salesforce into new teams and capabilities as the organization grows.
