Information for California Residents (CCPA/CPRA Disclosure)
This section provides additional privacy information for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”). This supplements the information contained in our Privacy Policy. Under the CCPA, “Personal Information” is information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked directly or indirectly with a particular California resident. The specific Personal Information that we collect, use, and disclose relating to a California resident covered by the CCPA will vary based on our relationship or interaction with that individual. For more information on the categories of information we collect, the sources of that information and the recipients of such information and how we secure information, please refer to our general Privacy Policy above. Terms that are used, but not defined, in this CCPA Disclosure are defined in the CCPA.
If you are a California resident employee or job applicant of Acquis, please see our Employee-Applicant CCPA Notice below:
Acquis – CCPA Notice at Collection

Acquis also does not “share” Personal Information for consideration, such as targeted advertising.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
Request we disclose to you free of charge the following information covering the 12 months preceding your request:

the specific pieces of Personal Information we collected about you;
Request we delete Personal Information we collected from you, unless the CCPA recognizes an exception; and
Be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising your rights under the CCPA.
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and advise you how long we expect it will take to respond if we are able to verify your identity, as required by the CCPA/CPRA. Requests for specific pieces of Personal Information will require additional information to verify your identity. We will work to process all verified requests within 45 days pursuant to the CCPA. If we need an extension for up to an additional 45 days in order to process your request, we will provide you with an explanation for the delay.

In some instances, we may not be able to honor your request, and we will advise you of that fact in our response. For example, we will not honor your request if we cannot verify your identity or if we cannot verify that you have the authority to make a request on behalf of another individual. Additionally, we will not honor your request where an exception applies, such as where the disclosure of Personal Information would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of another consumer or where the Personal Information that we maintain about you is not subject to the CCPA’s access or deletion rights.

Do-Not-Track
Some browsers have incorporated a Do Not Track (DNT) feature. These features, when turned on, send a signal that you prefer that the website you are visiting not collect and use data regarding your online searching and browsing activities. As there is not yet a common understanding on how to interpret the DNT signal, we currently do not respond to DNT signals on our site. This is a different signal than Universal Opt Out signals, which do not apply to Acquis’s processing of information, because Acquis does not “sell” or “share for consideration” personal information. For more information about our use of cookies and similar technologies, please see our Cookie Policy.
Social Media Features
Our Website may include social media features, including from Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on the Website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Please refer to the date at the top of this page to determine when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Any changes to our Privacy Policy will become effective upon posting of the revised policy on the Website. By continuing to use our Website and services following such changes, you will be deemed to have agreed to such changes.
