Acquis Foundation® 2026 Grant Opportunity RFP

Acquis Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Acquis Consulting Group, dedicated to advancing opportunity, and social impact in the communities where we live and work. Through strategic partnerships and targeted grantmaking, the Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that are driving meaningful change in areas such as youth empowerment, workplace inclusion, and support for vulnerable populations. Our mission is rooted in the belief that sustainable progress begins with intentional investment in people and ideas that uplift communities.

Introducing the 2026 Grant Opportunity

As part of our commitment to community impact, Acquis Foundation is proud to launch this Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify and support up to four (4) nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with our values and focus areas. Each selected organization will receive a $25,000 grant to further their efforts in alignment with at least one of the Acquis Foundation’s pillars: education; workforce training; and diversity, opportunity, inclusion (DOI). This RFP represents our pathway to empower mission-driven organizations that are making a tangible difference, and we look forward to partnering with changemakers who share our vision for a more inclusive and equitable future.

Grant Recipients Announced: July 1, 2026

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

  • Must be an established organization with a new idea, or an organization with existing infrastructure (not a grass roots organization).

  • Alignment with Acquis Foundation’s mission and values.

  • Organizations do not need to be headquartered in NYC, but their work must impact NYC communities.

  • Applicants must consent to being featured on the Acquis Foundation’s website, social media channels, and other publicly accessible platforms.

Focus Areas

Grant recipients must design their proposed program to address at least one of the Acquis Foundation’s core pillars. These pillars represent our commitment to creating meaningful impact in communities:

Pillar 1: Education

Programs that expand access to learning opportunities, improve educational outcomes, and empower individuals through knowledge. This includes initiatives such as tutoring, mentorship, literacy programs, and innovative approaches to learning.

Pillar 2: Workforce Training

Efforts that prepare individuals for employment and career advancement through skill development, vocational training, and job readiness programs. These initiatives should help participants gain practical skills and improve economic mobility.

Pillar 3: Diversity, Opportunity, and Inclusion (DOI)

Projects that foster inclusive environments, promote opportunity, and celebrate diversity. This includes programs addressing systemic barriers, advancing representation, and creating opportunities for historically marginalized communities.

Grant Usage

The Acquis Foundation provides flexibility in how grant funds are utilized to support your organization’s mission and proposed programming. There are no restrictions on how the grant funds may be used, provided they contribute to the success and impact of the initiative outlined in your proposal.

However, recipients are required to:

  • Track and report all expenditures associated with the grant.

  • Measure the impact of funded activities as part of quarterly updates and the final impact report.

  • Ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting to the Acquis

Submission Requirements

Executive Summary (300 words or less)

  • Provide a concise overview of your organization and the proposed program.

  • What are the primary objectives of your program?

  • Who is the target population for your proposed program?

  • Briefly describe the anticipated impact of your program.

Program Overview (500 words or less)

  • Describe the program in detail, including:

    • Activities and Timeline: Key steps and milestones.

    • List any partnerships or collaborations that will support this program.

  • Organizational Capacity & Key Staff Bios

    • Demonstrate your organization’s ability to execute the program:

  • Organizational Overview: Mission, structure, and relevant experience.

  • Capacity to Deliver: Systems, resources, and past performance.

Attach bios for key staff:

  • Name, title, role in the project.

  • Relevant qualifications and experience.

Measurable Outcomes & Evaluation Plan (500 words or less)

  • Define clear, quantifiable outcomes for the program.

  • Explain how success will be measured:

    • Metrics and indicators.

    • Data collection methods.

  • Include an evaluation timeline and accountability approach.

Community Impact & Alignment (300 words or less)

  • Describe how your program aligns with Acquis Foundation’s pillars:

    • Education

    • Workforce training

    • Diversity, opportunity, and inclusion (DOI).

  • How will your organization engage the community and what benefits do you anticipate?

Budget & Sustainability

  • Submit a detailed budget showing how the $25,000 grant will be used.

    • Include major expense categories and justification.

    • Outline your sustainability strategy:

    • How will the program continue beyond this funding?

    • Additional funding sources or long-term plans.

Reporting Requirements

To ensure transparency and track progress, the Acquis Foundation Board requires the following reporting and engagement schedule:

  • Quarterly Virtual Check-Ins (First Three Quarters)

    • Frequency: Three virtual meetings (one per quarter).

    • Purpose:

      • Provide updates on program implementation and milestones.

      • Share challenges, successes, and adjustments to the plan.

      • Discuss any support needed from the Foundation.

      • Format: 30–minute virtual meeting with key project leads.

      • Materials: Submit a brief progress report prior to each meeting, including:

        • Activities completed during the quarter.

        • Progress toward measurable outcomes.

        • Budget updates and any variances.

        • Next steps / goals for the next quarter

        • Final Impact Report & Presentation (Fourth Quarter)

        • Purpose: Present comprehensive results and impact achieved through the grant.

  • Requirements:

    • Submit a Final Impact Report detailing:

    • Outcomes vs. original goals.

    • Community impact and alignment with Acquis Foundation pillars.

    • Financial summary of grant usage.

    • Sustainability plans and next steps.

Submission Instructions

Proposals must be submitted electronically.

Review Process & Recipient Announcements

All submissions must be received by the Acquis Foundation Board no later than April 30, 2026. Following review by the Board, selected recipients will be contacted directly and announced publicly on our website and LinkedIn page on July 1, 2026.
