Shimon approaches consulting, as he does life, with an eye toward making things better through innovation, an approach that serves him, and those he engages with, well. His methodology focuses on the “why,” then “what,” and then “how” – all the while drawing from his wide range of personal and business experiences.
As head of Acquis’s Meetings Management Group, Shimon helps clients develop innovative strategies to ensure their meetings management programs achieve corporate goals that meet their unique business requirements and corporate cultures.
Shimon is a domain expert in risk and compliance management, program assessment, design and implementation, and managing the change necessary to implement complex meetings management programs successfully. He has helped U.S.-based and global companies in all industries assess their current programs and improve meetings-program rationalization, event excellence, compliance with business and regulatory requirements, and spend management.
Shimon received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Columbia University. He is a Fulbright scholar. Having previously lived in Israel, Philadelphia, Toronto, Princeton, and Washington D.C., Shimon currently resides in Salem, MA.
