Charles has 20 years of experience providing successful management consulting, marketing strategy, and business development solutions that help clients innovate, build brand equity, grow market share, and ultimately transform their business.
Charles is Chief Strategy Officer at Scale Squared, a specialty practice of Acquis Consulting Group that helps organizations build, augment, and rapidly scale their professional services departments and offerings. Charles’ strong track record of developing, selling, and executing business strategies spans a broad range of industries, including consumer goods, hospitality, retail, financial services, healthcare, and technology.

Prior to joining Acquis, Charles worked for PARTNERS & Simons, a social media and branding agency specializing in health and financial services sectors. As a vice president, Charles was responsible for creating and executing the strategy for acquiring new clients. Before working for PARTNERS & Simons, he was a managing director for Stonebridge Associates, and before that, a partner at The Lucas Group, where he led the firm’s Private Equity Consulting Practice.

Charles considers himself an entrepreneur at heart, having founded and led the consulting firm Mount Vernon Strategies for 10 years before selling it to Technomic, a Chicago-based consulting and research firm.

For leisure, Charles closely follows politics and the ups and downs of Boston sports when he’s not busy attending his kids’ ice hockey, soccer, and baseball games. Charles has a B.A. in political science from Tufts University and an M.A. in international relations from Boston University.
