Joy’s social entrepreneurial spirit has helped her become the global citizen she is today. Her in-depth knowledge of cultures and interest in people have proven invaluable in coming up with custom and creative solutions to client challenges.
Joy’s passion is healthcare, business, and technology. Since joining Acquis as a Business Analyst, Joy has engaged with clients in the pharmaceutical industry, where she has used her operational strategy and project management skills.
Before joining Acquis, Joy was a Business Analytic and Strategy Consultant in the Health Care & Life Sciences Sector of IBM's Global Business Services. She worked closely with a top health insurance provider in San Francisco as a scrum master for a data warehouse configuration. She also gained experience in the industrial sector as a technical project manager for a data migration project with a global oil company.
Joy’s exposure to health care began during an internship at the Center for Disease Control and a subsequent summer job at The Carter Center in Nigeria. Upon graduating, she started a non-profit organization--Markets for Peace--that provided fire-prevention training, waste-management protocols, and financial literacy to market communities in Nigeria.
Joy received her BA in public health at Agnes Scott College, with a concentration in economic development.
