With her sense of adventure and can-do attitude, Michelle has lived on three different continents. Her passion for travel and her overall curiosity has given her an open-minded approach to working with diverse clients worldwide.Michelle has over 13 years of consulting experience in healthcare, helping clients develop unique and effective strategies to increase quality, efficiency, and overall operations. She is highly organized, which helps her create detailed processes and plans to handle complex projects and large-scale initiatives effectively. Michelle is also a skilled negotiator, having honed her skills in multiple procurement engagements.
Michelle pairs an understanding of a client’s objectives and desired outcomes with detailed and thoughtful project approaches. She believes the key to successful projects is developing trustworthy and respectful client relationships. Her areas of expertise include strategic collaborations, strategy development, process improvement, merger and post-merger integration activities, operating models, change management, and project management.
Michelle has worked on global projects in national healthcare systems, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. Her capabilities include managing large-scale transformations, developing partnerships between pharmaceuticals/biotechs and scientific organizations, society and cooperative groups, and thought leader engagement. She has also created global processes for clinical disclosure and transparency, while taking into consideration regulations from the FDA, European Commission, and Health Canada.
Before coming to Acquis, Michelle worked for the Corporate Finance department of PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. She is from Rio de Janeiro and has received a BA in Political Science and Economics from Sacred Heart University and an MsC in International Health Policy from London School of Economics.
