With her sense of adventure and can-do attitude, Michelle has lived on three different continents. Her passion for travel and her overall curiosity has given her an open-minded approach to working with diverse clients worldwide.
Michelle is highly organized, which helps her create detailed processes and plans to handle complex projects and large -scale initiatives effectively. Michelle is also a skilled negotiator, having honed her skills in multiple procurement engagements.
Michelle always pairs an understanding of a client’s objectives and desired outcomes with detailed and thoughtful project approaches. She believes the key to successful projects is developing trustworthy and respectful client relationships.
Before coming to Acquis, Michelle worked for the Corporate Finance department of PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. While in London, she gained significant experience in the health care industry, specializing in public-private partnerships and large-scale procurements. She led the procurement when one of the largest London-based National Health Service hospitals partnered with a private healthcare operator to design, build, and finance a private patient unit on hospital grounds.
Michelle is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and received a BA in Political Science from Sacred Heart University and an MsC in International Health Policy from London School of Economics.
