Kerby is a Southerner by birth and a New Yorker by choice. He thinks every man should own a bow tie (and know how to tie it), a pair of Nantucket reds, and a Zac Brown Band album.
Kerby is a PMP-certified program manager. He has experience assisting organizations with organizational strategy and redesign, business process reengineering, internal communications, financial management, and data analytics.

Kerby has led a number of different projects for Acquis partners, including building out a new C-level role, supporting business units and correlating responsibilities for a growing life sciences firm, and driving operational efficiency through a life sciences firm’s product portfolio management processes. He is a frequent contributor to Acquis thought leadership, authoring the white paper, Preparing for Leadership Transition: Strategic Planning for Broadened Responsibilities

Prior to joining Acquis in 2011, Kerby was a Managing Director at DRT Strategies, a boutique management consulting firm based in Washington, DC. He managed DRT’s Law Enforcement and Homeland Security Sector, and was responsible for all projects with the US Department of Justice, the US Department of Homeland Security, and the US Department of Treasury.

Kerby holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Georgetown University and Bachelors of Science degrees in Finance and Marketing Management from Virginia Tech. He is a college football connoisseur, a purveyor of obscure analogies, and a lover of travel. He lives in New York City with his wife, Meredith.
