Marshall is a Business Analyst at Acquis assisting his clients on both strategy development and execution. Before he was an Analyst, Marshall impressed his Acquis colleagues during two summer internships at the firm. During his first summer, Marshall worked on a Procurement engagement for a large pharmaceutical company, analyzing large, indirect spend categories (e.g., airfare, car rental) and helping the team reach a $10 million savings target. The following summer Marshall assisted with the design and implementation of a finance shared service center. Specifically Marshall helped develop new finance processes and facilitate training for new employees. Marshall’s time on these projects may have been limited, but his impact was far-reaching and ultimately helped the client achieve its goals of consolidating and standardizing its financial processes.
Before his internships at Acquis, Marshall spent a summer at Spring Mountain Capital, a fund of funds, where he provided research on potential investments and contributed to a research paper on the effect of fund size on performance.
Marshall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University.
